Plan4all, together with Aarhus University (Department of Agroecology) and the EU Horizon Europe trans4num consortium, is pleased to announce the launch of the trans4num INSPIRE Hackathon 2026!

• Dates: 22–23 October 2026
• Format: Hybrid (In-person in Aarhus, Denmark & Online)
• Who should join: Researchers, GIS & data specialists, developers, agronomists, farmers, policy experts, and students.
• Participation: Free of charge

About the Challenge

Focusing on Denmark’s Limfjord catchment, the hackathon brings interdisciplinary teams together to tackle key agroecological and environmental challenges:

• Balancing landscape-scale nutrient flows and abating nitrogen runoff into vulnerable aquatic ecosystems
• Testing decision-support tools and geospatial models (including the trans4num DST & JackDaw Geo AI agent)
• Advancing Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) and circular bioeconomy chains
• Shaping data-driven agricultural policies and regulatory sandboxes

Collaborate with international experts, test cutting-edge open geodata workflows, and help co-design resilient agricultural futures!
